 AQHA 2008 Region 2 Experience Volunteer Needs

  PRE SHOW VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Wednesday
     •
2 Volunteers needed to help with stall charts, tagging stalls & RV Spaces ( 4 -6 hours )
     •
2-4 volunteers needed to hang up AQHA Corporate Sponsor banners & Region 2 banners
       in Bray arena and coliseum arena and other sponsor signs in barns ( 3-4 hours )
     •
4 volunteers to unpack and sort awards ( 8 hours)
     •
1 volunteer to help Barbara with trade show vendors & identifying spaces ( 6 hours )
     •
1 volunteer to pick up shrubbery, flowers for trail course at nursery
     •
1 volunteer to pick up judges at the airport, transport to hotel & take to dinner
     •
1 volunteer ( Runner ) for miscellaneous supplies, food for volunteers, etc ( 8 hours )

     SHOW VOLUNTEERS - Thursday
     •
Thursday morning - pick up judges at hotel & bring to show
     •
6 Volunteers to help with cattle classes, moving & sorting cattle ( rotate 4 hour shifts 3
       per shift )
    
2 volunteers for “ running ” activities ( miscellaneous supplies, food, etc) ( 8 hours )
     •
3 volunteers to handle award presentations ( 8 hours )
     •
3 volunteers to help with Trail & Western Riding Clinic ( 3 hours )
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges to hotel & take to dinner
     •
1 volunteer to pick up second set of judges at airport & transport to hotel, take to dinner
     •
1 volunteer to run tractor for arena work up

     SHOW VOLUNTEERS - Friday
     •
Friday morning 8:00 am Bray Arena—4 volunteers to set up practice trail
     •
2-3 volunteers to run practice trail, reset poles, take money, manage times ( 2 hours )
     •
1 volunteer to transport Group B judges to show before trail starts 10:00 AM
     •
4 volunteers to help set up trail course & help with trail, reset poles, run the gate
     •
2 volunteers to handle award presentations for trail classes ( 4-5 hours )
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges to hotel & take to dinner

     SHOW VOLUNTEERS—Friday, Coliseum Arena
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges from hotel to show before start 7:00 am
     •
1 volunteer for “ runner” duties ( food for judges, supplies, etc ) ( 8 hours )
     •
3 volunteers to handle award presentations ( 8 hours )
     •
1 volunteer to run tractor
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges to hotel & take to dinner

     SHOW VOLUNTEERS—Saturday Coliseum Arena
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges from hotel to show before start 7:00 am
     •
3 volunteers to handle award presentations ( 8 hours )
     •
1 volunteer for “ runner” duties ( food for judges, supplies, etc ) ( 8 hours )
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges to hotel & take to dinner

     SHOW VOLUNTEERS—Grand Stand Arena ( Not before 10:00 am )
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges from hotel to show before Speed events 9:00 am
     •
1 volunteer to run gate
     •
2 volunteers to rake, set up poles, barrels ( 2 hours )
     •
2 volunteers to handle award presentations ( 2 hours )
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges to airport for departure

     SHOW VOLUNTEERS-Sunday
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges from hotel to show before start 7:00 am
     •
1 volunteer for “ runner” duties ( food for judges, supplies, etc ) ( 8 hours )
     •
3 volunteers to handle award presentations ( 8 hours1 volunteer to run tractor
     •
1 volunteer to transport judges to hotel & take to dinner
