Fees, Deadlines, Awards, Regulations

PRE-ENTRY DEADLINE

NOTE: 
Pre-entry deadline has been extended to September 1, 2010.  (Please disregard AQHA postcard date)

The pre-entry deadline to take advantage of fee discounts is September 1, 2010. Late registrations accepted with penalty but awards NOT guaranteed at the show.  DAY OF SHOW entries are allowed, must enter up to two classes prior to your desired class and late fees will apply unless previously
paid division entry fee. 

Deadline determined by post mark - no phone or fax entries - no exceptions.

REFUNDS
Refunds are given for any reason any time prior to or on the pre-entry deadline of September 1.  After September 1, refunds shall only be given with a proper veterinarian certificate for the horse or a doctor's certificate for the exhibitor.

AWARDS
Awards will be available at the show for all classes with entries submitted by September 1, 2010. Those classes with no entries on September 1 but having entries the day of the show will have their awards MAILED by AQHA.

Circuit Division Fee:  Exhibitors may pay a one-time fee per division (Novice Youth, Youth, Novice
Amateur, Amateur, Select Amateur and Open).  This fee entitles exhibitor ability to enter in as many classes as the prefer in that particular division.

Paid Warm-Up Fee:  For Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle only.  No awards given for these classes.  $5.00 per horse

Credit Card Convenience Fee:  $6.00 per exhibitor

CATTLE CLASSES – Fees & Rules – Cattle Fees shown are IN ADDITION to AQHA class fees.
Exhibitors showing in ANY cattle class & entered by September 1, 2010 you will show with fresh cattle on EACH run.  Those entering after September 1, 2010 may not be guaranteed fresh cattle and may work re-run cattle.

 


Hunter Under Saddle Non-Pro Stakes - Jackpot Entry
Entry fee is $75.00  by September 1, 2010.  $125. entry fee after September , 2010.  Open to any non-pro youth or amateur exhibitors in Region 2 showing AQHA registered horses.  Exhibitors must possess current AQHA amateur or youth membership.  Copy of membership card and horse's registration papers verifying horse's age must accompany entry registration.

$45. of each entry fee will be jackpotted back into purse.  Additional fees for late entry will not be included in jackpot purse, only $45 class entry included.  Payback placings & percentage amounts of the purse are dependent on and pro-rated for total number of entries.  Please see the office for actual payback amounts.  NSBA payback rules apply.  One Go Round-cumulative scoring 3 judges.  Awards presented for class placings 1st - 5th.

All other membership and ownership AQHA rules apply.

3 & 4 Year Old Non Pro Western Pleasure - Jackpot Entry
Entry fee is $75.00 by September 1, 2010.   $125 entry fee after September 1, 2010.
Open to any non-pro youth or amateur exhibitors in Region 2 showing 3 & 4 year old horses.  Exhibitors must possess current AQHA amateur or youth membership.  Copy of membership card & horses registration papers verifying horses age must accompany entry registration.

Horses may be exhibited in snaffle bit or bosal.  All other membership and ownership AQHA rules apply. 

Longeline Class-Jackpot
Open to any Region 2 yearling. Entry fee is $75.00 by September 1, 2010.   $125 entry fee after September 1, 2010. $45 of each entry fee will be jackpotted back into purse.  Additional fees for late entry will not be included in jackpot purse, only $45 of class entry included.  Payback placings & percentage amounts of purse are dependant on and pro-rated to total number of entries.  Please see the office for actual payback amounts.   One Go Round-cumulative scoring 3 judges.  Awards presented for 1st -5th  place.

Walk Trot Western Pleasure
Youth (18 & under) & Adult (19 & over) Divisions.  Entry fee is $10.  No late fee applied.  Participants can NOT compete in another class that requires a lope.  Awards for placings 1st-5th.

Small Fry Classes
For riders 10 years of age and under as of January 1, 2010.  Walk & Jog/trot only.  Forward motion only in Trail.  Special awards for the Small Fry Division.  (Class & All Around)  Entry fee is $10 per class.  No late Fee.  These riders can NOT cross over into a Novice Youth or Youth class.  Small Fry All Around does not require 3 categories.

JACKPOT FEES:

OPTIONAL - $10.00 jack pot fee per class on Open and Amateur Barrels AND Open and Amateur Roping Classes.  100% payout.

*Fees are per class, unless you wish to show in 3 or more classes in a division (i.e., amateur, novice youth, open, etc.), then you can take advantage of our flat fee for unlimited classes in that particular division!

SPECIAL RULES:

Regional Experiences will be open to exhibitors and owners residing in the respective states or
provinces comprising the region. All horses must have current health papers and negative
Coggins. (South Dakota horses do not need a negative Coggins, but do need current health papers)

Each exhibitor must be a current AQHA member and all horses must be AQHA registered.
Weanlings may send in breeder's certificate showing the registered sire and dam, but actual
papers are encouraged. You or your horse cannot show the same class in any division (novice
youth, youth, novice amateur, amateur, amateur select or open) at a Regional Experience that
you placed in the Top 10 in the preceding calendar year’s FedEx Open, MBNA Amateur, Bayer
Select or AQHYA World Championship Shows. Additionally, horses or people who might advance
to another class because of age and have placed in the top 10 at one of AQHA’s World Shows
