Curt Pate
The Region 2 Experience is proud to welcome ‘home’ Curt Pate, an
AQHA Professional Horseman. Mr. Pate is the featured AQHA
Regional Experience clinician from Helena, Montana, has been
training horses and presenting demonstrations for more than 10
years. Curt's experience and natural talent with horses has
helped him assist countless owners work through problems with
their animals. Even Hollywood leaned on him during the filming
of the 1998 movie, The Horse Whisperer, as the equine technical
advisor. Curt's low stress method teaches respect for the horse
as a partner rather than a servant. Curt strongly believes that
low stress training causes high performance horsemanship. When
he's not touring the country for AQHA, Curt can be found at his
home in Montana where he lives with wife Tammy, son Rial and

Curt Pate will be conducting a horsemanship clinic and
will also focus on problem solving at 2 pm on Saturday in the
outdoor arena. His clinic will be limited to 12 horse & riders,
but everyone is encouraged to watch.

The Region 2 Experience is pleased to welcome
multiple World Champion trainer Charlie Cole. The Pilot
Point, Texas resident has been showing for more than 15 years
and excels in the Western Riding and Trail events. (Though is
the current two-time defending World Champion in the Senior
Western Pleasure.) Charlie has earned more than 5000 AQHA points
and more than 2000 of those points have been earned in Western
Riding with such horses as Majestic Scotch. Charlie and his
business partner, Jason Martin operate High Point Performance
Horses.
Charlie Cole will be conducting a Trail &
Western riding clinic on Thursday, September 25 at 1:30. His
clinic will be limited to 12 horse & riders, but everyone is
encouraged to watch.
